Chemical 
     Zibo is a well-known petrochemical base in China with crude oil processing ability of 12 million tons/year, ethylene production of 600 thousand tons/year, and plastics production of 300 thousand ton/year. Fluoride series of chemical products has accounted for 29% of the domestic market. Gross output of pesticide and light calcium carbonate has ranked first domestically, and annual output of white titanium pigment has reached 30 thousand tons, ranking first domestically.
Pharmaceutical sector
The gross output of antipyritic and analgesic medicine in Zibo has ranked first in Asia. The annual output of pharmaceutical glass has accounted for more than 80% in the domestic market. The output of radiation therapy equipment, anti-septic and sterilizing equipment, and surgical apparatus leads the country.

Ceramics and construction materials
      Zibo has abundant natural resource reserves of limestone, quartz sand, bauxite, synthetic bone powder, sandstone, gangue, and ceramic clay. Output of construction ceramics, cement, plate glass, and heat tolerant materials has already formed a large scale of production. Annual output of tiles has reached 600 million square meters, which is one of the three largest construction material bases in China. Annual output of living ceramics has reached 700 million pieces, which is one of the five largest producing areas of ceramic in China.

Textile and fabrics
      The annual output of various chemical fibers, such as terylene, acrylon, and polypropylene, has reached 300,000 tons in Zibo. The output of colored woven cloth has ranked first in Asia, and the annual output of jeans has reached 50 million meters. It has led the output of fabrics domestically, with products reaching everywhere around the world.
Metallurgy
The annual output of aluminum oxides and electrolytic aluminum has reached 920 thousand tons and 60 thousand tons , respectively, which is an important base of aluminum industry. The annual output of steel and steel products is 3 million tons and 330,000 ton respectively.

Machinery
      Various categories are included such as general machines, chemical machines, paper manufacturing, construction material and metallurgical machines, agricultural machines, grain machines, and electrical machines. The annual output of AC electromotor has reached 1.6 million KW, abrasive materials has reached 10,000 tons, and various types of pumps have reached 60,000, which have all led the country.
Electronics
     Zibo is a manufacturing base of basic components and electronic materials in China. The annual output of aluminum oxide ceramic wafers has reached 200,000 square meters, accounting for 50% of the domestic output.
